About the project
T.A.G. Construction carried out demolition works at the Daikin Factory facility in Singapore to support the reconfiguration of the client's manufacturing and operational spaces.
The scope covered designated factory sections and structural elements, machinery foundations, pits and plinths, heavy-duty M&E installations, and overhead crane rails and gantry structures. Work followed a phased sequence: hazardous-materials survey and abatement, isolation of services, soft strip, then structural demolition with high-reach excavators and hydraulic crushers, using diamond cutting and controlled breaking next to vibration-sensitive areas.
Concrete was recycled as road base and fill, steel went to licensed recyclers, and the site was backfilled, compacted and prepared for the client's next phase. The project was completed safely within the agreed programme.
